We are an independent restaurant founded by Chuck Cinelli. The Cinelli family have been successful in the Nashville restaurant and venue scene since 1995 and in the food industry since 1965.

Chuck started Café Coco in 1995 as a fun, eclectic meeting place that combines all the richness of Music City by having a coffee house, music venue and restaurant housed all in the same location - a nostalgic, historical house in MidTown Nashville. Café Coco, known for its jovial charm and unique patrons, is more than a business, its a community amongst a community.


The Little "Old" House


Nestled within Elliston Place, Music City's "Rock Block" amongst Saint Thomas, Vanderbilt, and Children's Hospitals - the tables spill out onto the covered front patio, side veranda (SideStage), BackStage Bar as it stretches the boundaries of this old house with soul and creativity.

Café Coco meets with local vendors and brew houses to keep up-to-date with not only the local emerging flavors of the city but also the seasonal fare available like Tennessee apple ciders and milk stouts.


Drop in and get a sample of the many local beers that we have to offer in the front and BackStage bar areas.


Coffee House & Bistro


Who doesn't like a good shot? And I'm not talking about whiskey.  


Our coffee beans are bought green and roasted in-house filling the wooden and brick structure of the building with the aromas of maple and floral notes.


If you're in the mood for food - try our famous Mobster breakfast bowl or our Turkey Rockefeller.


Not only are we surrounded by the medical community but we are seconds away from higher learning institutes such as Vanderbilt, Belmont, and Lipscomb Universities. Many of the students and staff drop in for a morning coffee and end their study sessions with one of known rice-crispy treats or a slice of Chocolate Eruption.

From attorneys to doctors to students to construction workers, we treat all of our guests like family. We learn their names, personalize their service, and warmly welcome their fur-babies into our "home".  No request is too big or small because we always find the "yes" for our guests.
